Side Event of UNHRC in Geneva: Spotlighting The Church of Almighty God & Religious Freedom in China

On March 1, 2018, during the 37th session of the Human Rights Council at the United Nations in Geneva, the Coordination of the Associations and Individuals for Freedom of Conscience (CAP LC) organized a Side Event on the denial of religious freedom in China and the case of The Church of Almighty God.

When I was a child, I asked my mom: “Where did I come from?”

My mom said: “Honey, you’re my sweet heart. Because I delivered you.”

I continued to ask her: “So where did you come from?”

She said: “You grandma delivered me.”

I couldn’t stop asking: “Then how about my grandma?”

……

It’s a question without answer.

Where do we come from? Who is the source of our life? Here we will find the answer!

   Almighty God, Christ of the last days, is the returned Lord Jesus. Eastern Lightning, The Church of Almighty God was founded by God personally and is formed by all those who truly follow Almighty God. Who is the One that created and commands all things?

 The vast universe, the wonderful miraculous world, unique, splendor, beautiful, in perfect order and full of vitality. Who is the One that created everything, and who is the One that commands and supplies all things? What’s the close relationship of all of these with humans’ living and multiplying?

   
   Almighty God says, "If you are a true Christian, then you will surely believe that the rise and fall of any country or nation occurs according to the designs of God. God alone knows the fate of a country or nation, and God alone controls the course of this mankind. If mankind wishes to have a good fate, if a country wishes to have a good fate, then man must bow down to God in worship, repent and confess before God, or else the fate and destination of man will unavoidably end in catastrophe."

Why is the world so dark and wicked? With mankind being at the height of corruption, should it be destroyed?

The Answer from God’s Word:
    Man lost his God-fearing heart after being corrupted by Satan and lost the function that one of God’s creatures should have, becoming an enemy disobedient to God. Man lived under Satan’s domain and followed Satan’s orders; thus, God had no way to work among His creatures, and was all the more unable to win fear from His creatures. Man was created by God, and ought to worship God, but man actually turned his back to God and worshiped Satan. Satan became the idol in man’s heart. Thus God lost His standing in man’s heart, which is to say that He lost the meaning of His creation of man….
