The short video vividly presented two once simple juice vendors who fell in love with each other at first sight gave up the simple happiness for fame and gain. As their business kept growing, there was only rivalry and hatred left in their hearts. When they got back their composure, their desire had already propelled two once-simple juice stands into monstrous mechanical processing plants. Their competition soon got out of hand. They ultimately chose to find their original intentions and started over, guarding the simple and happy life filled with laughter.

Examples like this are plentiful in our life. For fame and gain, people abandon friendship, love and even affection, and stop at nothing to get what they want. This is the false life outlook that Satan instills in us. Just as God’s words revealed, “So Satan uses fame and gain to control man’s thoughts until all they can think of is fame and gain. They struggle for fame and gain, suffer hardships for fame and gain, endure humiliation for fame and gain, sacrifice everything they have for fame and gain, and they will make any judgment or decision to both maintain and obtain fame and gain. In this way, Satan binds man with invisible shackles. These shackles are borne on people’s bodies, and they have not the strength nor courage to throw them off. So people trudge ever onward in great difficulty, unknowingly bearing these shackles. For the sake of this fame and gain, mankind becomes estranged from God and betrays Him. With each passing generation, mankind becomes more and more wicked, more and more darkened, and so in this way one generation after another is destroyed in the fame and gain of Satan.”

Living in this world, we easily accept Satan’s thinking and are controlled by Satan gradually, fighting for fame and gain despite ourselves. Seeking fame and wealth becomes the only aim in our life. We can barely resist it by ourselves but to grope around in the darkness. We have no mind to seek for God’s guidance, much less see God’s love and care for us. However, when we know Satan’s schemes through God’s words, want to get rid of this life and walk on the right path of human life, we need to rely on God, look up to God, cooperate with God and obey God’s orchestration and arrangement. God’s words say, “Because the essence of God is holy, that means that only through God can you walk the bright, right road through life; only through God can you know the meaning of life, only through God can you live out a real life, possess the truth, know the truth, and only through God can you obtain life from the truth. Only God Himself can help you shun evil and deliver you from the harm and control of Satan. Besides God, no one and nothing can save you from the sea of suffering so that you suffer no longer: This is determined by the essence of God. Only God Himself saves you so selflessly, only God is ultimately responsible for your future, for your destiny and for your life, and He arranges all things for you. This is something that nothing created or non-created can achieve. …” God can bestow us truth and lead us to understand the true meaning of human life. Only God can make us live a free and relaxed life.
