Watering and Supplying New Believers is the Top Priority of the Church’s Work

In order to coordinate with God’s work of saving mankind in the last days, we must do a good job of watering new believers so they can establish good foundations as soon as possible and enter onto the right track of believing in God. Only by doing so can it be guaranteed that they will be saved by God. After new believers accept God’s work, if they do not lay down good foundations in the first year, it will still be easy for them to be deceived by Satan and stray into dangerous territory. If so, the steep price we pay to preach the gospel to them will go down the drain. How could we let people who have already come before God be deceived and pulled away by Satan? New believers can’t be blamed for being weak, so it must be the outcome of leaders at all levels of the church not doing a good job in their supplying and watering work. This is a responsibility that leaders of all levels of the church can’t shirk. All people who serve God have once sworn to be loyal to God, willingly expend themselves for God, and carry out God’s will. How can God’s will be carried out if they can’t even keep people who have already entered God’s house? Isn’t this deceiving and being perfunctory toward God? If a person who serves God can’t fulfill God’s entrustment and carry out God’s will, then how can they possibly gain God’s praise and enter His kingdom? Just what is carrying out God’s will? If leaders and workers at any level of the church can’t guide God’s chosen people to eat and drink God’s words and accept and obey God’s judgment and chastisement to enter the reality of truth, then that’s far from serving God. There is a multitude of things to the work of God’s house, and the most fundamental one is to help all those who accept God’s work to truly understand God’s intention of saving mankind, enter all truths expressed by God, and achieve true obedience and worship of God. Only that is doing God’s will on earth, and that’s why only those do God’s will are people who serve God. Therefore, watering new believers so they can quickly establish a firm foundation on the true way and enter the right track of believing in God is the most fundamental and core work of God’s house. The truths that must be watered well to new believers include: The truth of the three stages of God’s work; the truth relating to God’s incarnation; the truth relating to God’s name; the truth relating to the difference between God’s work and man’s work; the truth relating to discerning the true Christ from the false ones; the truth relating to the knowledge of the work of the Holy Spirit and discernment of the work of the evil spirits; the truth relating to bringing God’s words into real life; and the truth relating to being an honest person, etc. Water these truths deep into the hearts of all those who accept God’s work so they can lay good foundations. This can ensure that they can stand firm on the true way and not betray or deny God no matter what disturbances they encounter from satanic demons. Only when one’s work achieves this result does he serve God to His liking and genuinely carry out God’s will. Most leaders and workers have too shallow an understanding of the truth and can’t fulfill their duties to achieve the results they ought to, so how can they serve God to His liking? No matter how much work you do or how busy you are, if you can’t do the fundamental core work well, you won’t qualify in God’s eyes and surely won’t be able to receive God’s praise. Smart people should all focus on doing the most fundamental work well and put most of their effort into the work that is the most fundamental and substantial. Only then will they conform with God’s intentions. If a believer is absolutely certain about God, has knowledge of God’s work, understands the truth and has entered reality, and their life disposition has started to be transformed and they can obey and worship God, then their fundamental problem will have been resolved. It’s just like if a person has many illnesses, including cancer. A smart doctor will surely think of a way to treat the cancer first and ensure that the person won’t die before attending to the lesser illnesses. Only by doing it like this will the patient be saved. It would be stupid to treat minor illnesses first because if they wanted to treat the cancer after it had spread, it would be too late. When it comes to people who have just accepted God’s work, the most important thing should be to make them first understand the three stages of God’s work, know the meaning of God’s conquering work of the last days, understand the mystery of God’s incarnation, achieve discernment of the true Christ and the false ones, and know the difference between God’s work and man’s work. Only by doing so will it be guaranteed that they will have good foundations on the true way and will never be deceived or pulled away by Satan. As some church leaders have not paid attention to the work of watering new believers, some new people who have accepted God for more than half a year can still be deceived and abandon the true way. There are even some newcomers who have believed for more than half a year or a year and can still be deceived into following false Christs and antichrists. All of this shows that church leaders of all levels have not done a good job of this most fundamental, important work of watering new believers. How will such leaders account for themselves before God? Who should bear the main responsibility for ruining these people’s lives? Is this not the most serious transgression? If a particular area has many instances of people betraying God, it certainly proves that leaders of all levels at the church don’t do their jobs well and are totally irresponsible. Such leaders are surely people who act perfunctorily toward God and deceive God. They are people who serve God but resist God. As the saying goes, only an incompetent general has lax soldiers. In other words, the quality of the general determines the quality of the soldiers. If a particular church has a lot of people who betray God, this proves that the work of the leaders of that church is the poorest, that they are the worst at watering the truth, and that they are not at all suited to be used by God.

From now on, leaders in all regions must prioritize the work of watering new believers and treat it as the most important, fundamental work. They must do their utmost to do a good job of watering new believers without delay and use all kinds of methods to water and provide for new people properly. This is a matter of urgency. All preachers must go down to do the work of watering new believers so that new believers can establish good foundations within a year. This is the essential work of leaders and workers at all levels.
