The Lord Jesus once reprimanded the Pharisees with these words, "Search the scriptures; for in them you think you have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And you will not come to me, that you might have life" (John 5:39-40). The Bible is merely a testimony of God, but it does not contain eternal life. Only God is the truth, the way and the life. In that case, how do we look at the Bible in a way that accords with the Lord's will?

True faith in God means experiencing the words and work of God based on a belief that God holds sovereignty over all things. So you shall be freed of your corrupt disposition, shall fulfill the desire of God, and shall come to know God.
